How to translate this poem into modern English?
Oh that with this blossoming plum-branch I could offer the song with which this morning it was quivering!
From the length and the feeling, I doubt the original poem was Japanese (it notes Eastern poet).
If anyone could translate into Japanese, it will be very very great!

This is actually already in Modern English in the technical sense of the term, but it sounds like something out of the 1600's.
A way that sounds more contemporary would be ...
"Wow... this morning I could offer a song, like the one this blossoming plum-branch is quivering with.
Oh that with this blossoming plum-branch I could offer the song with which this morning it was quivering!
