hello, everyone!

hehe, tomorrow is my birthday, I'm very happy!  Thanks at the same time, Mama, thank you for bringing me in this beautiful and wonderful world~ so today, i want to tell u something about how we celebrate birthdays in china.

In China, the situation is not the same in different areas. but generally speaking, youngster often celebrate birthdays, some even make a big party and invite her or his classmates, good friends, and some relatives. most of the time, it held at home, but also for some rich family or people dont wanna it be a annoying thing( like washing so many dishes) will choose to celebrate in the restaurants. nowadays is also quite different from yesterday. In the past, even though we dont have too many dished, and not that many people come just for a celebration, but they r happier than now, at that time, mama will made some steamsfish(made of wheat flour ), it meanslong life and happiness for the luckybaby^^ my mama cant made it, but everytime she will ask the neighbour for doing it, i love u, mama~ and another special thing isthe birthdaybaby will hang a red rope which ties hunderts of money, also for bringing good luck.

haha, cakes r necessary, we're happy to eat it. before cutting the cake, we have to do another thing, that is, put the candles which represent your age and light it, then make a wish, finally blow it down. O(∩_∩)O哈哈~

and we also give gifts each other, no need to be too expensive, but if made by urself or special , that's the best, i once make some  handworks for my friends, he even cryed, haha

For middle-age people, they dont celebrate it everytime, they'r too busy and sometimes care too much about their children, even no time for themselves. so the children also acted this role, who will made a surprise or make a call to mama or papa.

For people who r rented, their children will celebrate for them, especially in special times, like 50th or 60th Birthday, we put a great importance on it!
