If a being so powerful that it created us could come into existence, why couldn't we? God can miraculously appear but we can't? That doesn't sound fair...

Thank god (I'll let you decide which one) that some on here are talking some sense (Eagohr, Myriam, Andrew et al.). No one knows for sure what will happen to us after death. But there is a good chance that we'll end up back where we were before we were born. I hope that it's nothingness because if we all headed to the same place it's going to be awfully crowded!

If our mind lives on, what age will it be taken from us? At a nice youthful twentysomething when our mind is still full of vigour, or will there be some senile dribblers floating around for us to chat to as well? If it's just our 'spirit', then what is this exactly? Oh, and for the places that some of us think we're heading to, where are these actually? An alternative universe, or another planet? They're certainly not 'up there', now that we've had a good look around, just as no gods were discovered on Mt. Olympus...
