He's Canadian! I'm not sure the Australians would appreciate you thinking he is one of them. The boy acts like a spoiled brat in my opinion and the sooner his fame fades the better.

He is popular only because about 1 million people hate him

Yeah Bieber may have been a good role model for kids in the first place but now he is just an attention seeking brat. Some of this year's highlights include:
- Posting photos of himself smoking marijuana

- Picking fights with other celebs and getting his followers to personally insult them

- Whining about not being nominated for a Grammy (self-entitlement issues)

- Being kicked out of a club for causing a fight

- Turning up two hours late for a concert

- Getting into trouble with police for a confrontation in which it was alleged that Bieber struck his neighbour

- Abandoning his pet monkey at Munich customs after failing to provide proper documents for the animal

- Selling his pet snake in a charity auction (snake was donated to a rescue by the buyer)

- The whole Anne Frank debacle

- Various altercations with paparazzi

- Posting pictures of himself driking underage

- Urinating in a mop bucket in a restaurant (because apparently he's too good to go to the bathroom like the rest of us!)

- And let's not forget about him spitting off a balcony onto his own fans and then laughing about it

All harmless things most teenagers do, you may be excused for thinking, but most teenagers haven't put themselves in the public eye. So yeah, I can think of a lot better role models for kids than Bieber.

Beiber, Beiber, Beiber, NO. We really want to see you go. (Away, for good!) I feel bad for these young girls that he's influencing. It distorts their reality of what being manly should be! I consider those actions mentioned by Katrina as asinine behavior and simply inappropriate demeanor. YOLO is never the equivalent of Carpe diem! Swag is not the existence of class but the lack thereof. 

He is canadian and his fan base is pretty much only young kids and girls. No reason to hate him though. My nephews all liked him when they were about 9 years old and he is a very positive and inspiring influence on kids. There are lots of videos of him playing music before he was famous and he had natural talent which got him noticed. When musician's sign contracts with record labels, that label owns them. I will say though the campaign that owns justin B now is trying hard to inpire young kids. so why is everyone so negative. BTW, I can't listen to the music myself, but I'm not going to start trashing on the kid...
