I'm from Vietnam. I'm learning English as the second language. Besides, I'm also self-studying Chinese.
I'm currently studying French and Russian. I chiefly want to be able to communicate fluently in these languages. I began studying Russian as an outcome to the countless incounters with Russian speakers. In Israel there are a lot of them, so it is common to meet such. French i began studying by chance. There was no particular reason, it just happened. I hope that someday in the future i could use the skills i'll hopefully develop, in the private and professional arenas.
Well, I am studying English. You know English is one of the most popular languages in the world, 70 % people in the world use it to communicate. I love English so much because I can talk to a lot of people who come from other contries, and I can get knowledge from books in English. I think it's so great :D
Beside this reason, I love English because I love the intonation when we speak English. It's so beautiful :x
I am studying German. After traveling to many breweries that are now brewing classic German styles I wanted to learn more about Germany. I had never really read or heard the language spoke and after I did I was just secuded by it's charm. I can't say much else but that I fell in love with the culture except that I would of course love to travel there.
I also want to learn a few asian languages sometime in the future, including Mandarin. I have always been very fond of Asian cuisine and since I am a cook and a traveler I want to visit much of Asia. However, I have my a lot of on my plate learning one language, I am not going to try and tackle another one for a long time.
I'm studying English because I like it and you can communicate with any people around the world. I also am studying Russian. It is an interesting language, it has another alphabet but its pronunciation is so hard and I can say some common phrases in Russian.
