I am an avid Twitcher, which in laymans' terms means a bird watcher (of the feathered kind, gentlemen!) Do you notice the birds in your immediate surroundings. Do you have a favourite species? In my country there are many many different species. If I had to mention a favourite I would say a Bataleur Eagle.
I am not good to recognize birds species, but I can say that I love spring because early in the morning I can listen to birds' chirping, while I am in my bed and the city is still sleeping.
Hi Sudeep,
There are two species of Babbler in South Africa.
We have wide range altitutde from near sea level to 8848 metre in Nepal, hence, it is easy to observe most of the birds here. Spiny-babbler's habitat is around my countryside.
