Hi there -- Cosider joining the Learning Technolgies SIG of IATEFL.  The SIG forums are very active -- lots of activity re: instructional design for 1:1 online delivery, etc.  I'm interested in this topic, too.

I get all the newsletters from publishers, too -- that means a steady stream of what's going on with online learning. (OUP, CUP, Macmillan, Pearson, etc)

I'm suggesting these two options because you asked about research articles -- and these two places are where people highlight their research, or cite what others' are doing.
