There are many different gestures in the world.
In USA and in Great Britain gesture Ok is considered that everithing is good.I read that in France gesture Ok means that not everithing is good. But in Brazil it is considered indecent gesture.
Now many people show their tongues when their take own pictures then share with everybody, I do not like it. For me it is an indecent gesture.What do you think about it ? And what decent and indecent gestures are there in your country ?

I was thinking along the same lines as Su.Ki... I've had students indicate "two" with the back of the hand facing the listener. This is a rude gesture.
Another one (from my experience) is clicking your fingers with your right hand, then slapping your right hand with your left. The American teacher who did this thought it was just an innocent rhythm. She didn't realise that in her new country, she was making a sign for having sex.
Haha Ruthi I can guess the sign he made. Yep, that will get you in trouble in the UK.
There are a few members on this site - mainly young people from Asia - whose profile pictures show them holding up the first and middle fingers of one hand, with the other fingers and thumb folded back inwards towards the palm.
This is a very rude gesture in the UK, equivalent to the American one-finger gesture.
Very funny! My husband had this problem one time when we were driving in the UK and he made a hand gesture which means "wait a minute" in his country and in the UK is an indecent gesture,and I was shouting at him "Don't do that!" . The other driver shouted some abuse at us.These things can cause misunderstandings!
