This word is completely derogatory. Do not use it to describe anyone unless in an online quarrel. 

I think Sabrian Zhang do understand it, but her explanation is misleading. If you look up the word pride in an English-Chinses dictionary, one of the Chinese explanations is 傲慢. If it is translated back into English, that means arrogant. I think this meaning is not so often used in English. Given that her answer should be "a man of arrogant" which is correct.
