There is this town in Mexico where there is few men because they have all gone to work in America. The remaining people are only women, but they live luxurious lives. ...That's all I really understand.... :( p.s I definitely did not write this! Too good for me to write, so I don't think it needs any corrections...

在墨西哥*首都墨西哥城东南120公里处的十二月十二日村,男人很少出没("December 12th" village is located 120 kilometers southeast from the capital of Mexico)。 (From the people walking downhill, carrying firewood on their back in the mountain covered with pine trees, the farmers farming in the outskirts of village, the customers in the sole store in the village, to villagers gathering around for a casaul chat, are all women.) (There are only women, children, and some old men remained in the "December 12th" village)。 (All the working-age men have gone abroad to America for work)。

(According to the villagers, since 1940's, men that reached their working-age in the "December 12th" village and its neighboring villages have gone to America)。 (It was during the time of World War 2, America needed a number of manual laborers; Mexican military came to the "December 12th" village to enlist a group of working-age (roughly between the ages of 20 to 40 years old) able-bodied men, and dispatched them to Northern America.)。 (When the war was over, the villagers had already adopted this custom of going to America for work. Ever since, the trend has never stopped。

(The houses are deemed luxurious according to local standards, and all of which have been built of bricks and cement.)。 (Although their lifestyle is simple, every household has certain amount of money for emergency use)。 (Now, at the age of 60 years old, 佩德罗·埃斯卡米拉, had stayed in the states of Colorado, Wisconsin, and Illinois for 15 years, working as a farmer, a garden worker, and a mason.)。 (He supports himself with the income from the store that he bought in a nearby town with his prior savings.)。

There is this town in Mexico where there is are few men, because they have all gone to work in America. The remaining people are only women, but they live luxurious lives...

December 12th - a small village situated l20 km southeast of the Mexico City, where men are rarely to be seen. Wood carriers down from pine-covered mountains, farmers outside the village, customers in the sole grocery, gossip neighbours, are women. In this place, lives only women, children and a few elderly people. All young men are out for work in America.

As villagers said, date back to 1940s, all young men in the village and nearby who were considered capable for work, went to America.During the World War II period, America was lack of labours, the Mexican army came up to this village, recruited a group of young men and sent them to North America. When the war ended, the villagers have accustomed to find jobs in America. Since then, the trend has never stoped.

The houses here are deemed to be luxurious according to local standards. All were built with cement and bricks. Even though people are now living a simple life, almost of them remain a sum of money for emergency use. A 60-year-old man, Pedro Ace Camilla, who spent 15 years in Colorado, Wisconsin and Illinois working as farmer, garden worker and mason, bought a grocery nearby with savings, which supported him in the rest of life.

Could you correct me? ^^
