The difference concerning describing sports in Chinese ti1 & da3 & wan2 ti1: kick (soccer) da3: beat (basketball) wan2: play (when you don't know what sport "wan2" is indicating)

That's helpful Stephen, thanks. If the sport was cycling, would you use wan2 or qi2 (as in qi2 zi4 xing2 che1). and how about motorsports, for example rally driving, would you use kai1 or wan2? Thanks.
