Dear, where's your future? Lately I'm thinking about my future, just wondering what students in university can do for their future. I'm from Asia. In my education system, students are always told to be diligent in their work. It just sounds like if I fall on grades, my future will be nothing but hopefuless. I know it sounds ridiculous, but it's true.. I used to work hard, do anything teachers asked me to do. Sometimes I admire the western education cause the students there get more freedom from the schools, they get more chances to figure out what they really want to know that do. Actually, I can't even name out two more interests because I've devoted too much time on those boring stuff. I know that though some people graduated from famous schools can't even get a job. And I also understand that not anything we learn from teacher is useful. But what can I do if I don't focus on the work? Where's my future? I'm frustrated with those so called "successful way".

Dear,where's your future?

Lately I'm thinking about my future,

just wondering what students in university can do for their future.

I'm from Asia.

In my education system, students are always told to be diligent in their work.

It just sounds like if I fall on grades my grades drop, then my future will be nothing but hopefuless hopelessness.

I know it sounds ridiculous, but it's true..

I used to work hard, do anything teachers asked me to do.

Sometimes I admire the western education cause the students there get more freedom

from the schools, they get more chances to figure out what they really want to know that do.

Actually, I can't even name out two more interests of mine because I've devoted too much time on

those boring stuff.

I know that though some people who have graduated from a famous schools can't even get a job.

And I also understand that not anyeverything we learn from our teachers' is useful.

But what can I do if I don't focus on the work?

Where's my future?

I'm frustrated with those the so called "successful way".

I agree with Heinz. currently what you are learning is the basic knowledge and most will not be used in the real work. As for Zhou Jielun who Ellen mentioned, belongs to the minority, only a special case! well, you may also say Bill Gates, also a special case! Just solid your fundamental knowledge which is the base for your further study or your future work!

This happens to many students, you are not alone. University gives you a solid foundation on which you will build your life, even if you don't know what your life will be at this time. Don't get frustrated. I experienced the same thing when I went to school and my daughter as well. She is now 29 years old and finally found her calling - sometimes when you are so young, you are just not ready.

其实我也觉得不喜欢这样的教育,上学,好成绩也不是唯一的方式,周杰伦也没有上大学啊,他还是站在了北大的讲台上,我觉得你的英文比我强,好几个单词我不认识,
