One of the most difficult things in learning Vietnamese is how to put mark ( up mark, down mark, point mark, wave mark, question mark) on the word correctly. In Vietnamese, One word with variety of mark will make a different meaning. For example:
Ma ( no mark ) - Ghost
Má ( up mark) - Mother
Mã ( wave mark) - Code
....
