REPORT INTRODUCTION. The purpose of this report is to evaluate road safety in this area, by examining the level of traffic, and provision of traffic signals, pedestrian crossingss and cycle lines. It will consider their effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvements. TRAFFIC IN THE AREA. As it is known the traffic in the small city of Huelva is not as extensive as it could be in a big one. However the measures taken by the government in the last years, as do several pedestrian streets in the city, has led to accumulate vehicles on the roads in the peripher. In addition, parking are becoming more scarce and limitedcheludes of the bus and other public means of transport make that citizenship can find difficult to reach their destination on many occasions. EXISTING SAFETY MEASURES. Despite of the discontent of the drivers for the reforms of the roads anythinh has been enabled for alternative methods to the car as the cycle line which is rated by the public as insufficient. Moreover pedestrians are not satisfied as there has been an increase in traffic but not in signals causing disputes between drivers and pedestrians continuously. RECOMMENDATIONS. -Drivers are desperate. To combat this, a solution would be to extend the bus schedule, including night buses for people to use them daily. -Another idea is to create a funicular to tour the city of Huelva from the heights to raise money for tourism and maybe in the future create a more elaborate transportation network. CONCLUSION With careful planning, these ideas could prove very successful. Now is the time for all to engage with them.

REPORT

INTRODUCTION.
The purpose of this report is to evaluate road safety in this area, by examining the level of traffic, and provision of traffic-signals, pedestrian-crossings and cycle-lanes. It will consider their effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvements.

TRAFFIC IN THE AREA.
As it is known, the traffic in the small city of Huelva is not as extensive as it could be in a big city. However, the measures taken by the government in the last recent years, as to pedestrianizing several streets in the city, have led to an accumulation of vehicles on the roads on the periphery. In addition, parking is becoming more scarce and limited bus scheludes and other means of public transport, make it difficult for citizens to reach their destination on many occasions.

EXISTING SAFETY MEASURES.
Despite of the discontent of the drivers for roadworks, nothing has been done with regard to alternative modes of transport, such as the cycle-lanes, which are rated by the public as insufficient. Moreover, pedestrians are not satisfied, as there has been an increase in traffic, but not in signals, causing disputes between drivers and pedestrians, continuously.

RECOMMENDATIONS.
-Drivers are desperate. To combat this, a solution would be to extend the bus schedule, including night buses, for people using them daily.
-Another idea is to create a funicular to tour the city of Huelva from the heights, to raise money for tourism, and maybe in the future, create a more elaborate transportation network.

CONCLUSION
With careful planning, these ideas could prove very successful. Now is the time for all to engage with them.
