About our national meal

Hello, everyone!

Today I want to tell you about our national meal. It is called 'Beshbarmak' (it means: "the meal witch that you eat with five fingers"). I'm Kazakh and we often eat 'Beshbarmak' with horse's meat. We boil the meat for three or four hours, and it will becomes tasty. I have heard that in other nationalities cultures, don't people never eat horse's meat. And they are surprised when we tell them about it.

Good job! You are correct, horse meat is not eaten in some cultures. In the U.S., many people think of horses as their pets (like dogs and cats), so they are emotionally attached to these animals. I don't think I could eat horse meat for this reason, but I enjoy hearing a different perspective! :-)
