My son has just returned

My son has just returned from camping with his friends. He's very tired because they went to sleep late in the night and got up early in the morning. They played all day: soccer, volleyball, tennis table, walking... He learnt (learned) many new fun songs and found a lot of new friends. I think he needs a couple of days to collect himself.
He's watching tv now while I read an interesting book by Bjorn Larsson, Drommar vid havet.

They played all day: soccer, volleyball,  table tennis, walking(or hiking, US saying)... He learned many new fun songs and made a lot of new friends. I think he needs a couple of days to recover himself. 

He's watching TV right now while I'm reading an interesting book <Drommar vid Havet> by Bjorn Larsson.
