Paris is the capital of France and it’s also one of the most popular and beautiful cities in France. Paris was founded in the 3rd century BC by a Celtic people called the Parisii, who gave the city its name.
During the last few centuries decades, Paris has been an important centre of finance, commerce, fashion, science, and the arts. especially In the eighteenth century, because it was the centre stage for the French Revolution. History also shows us that Paris was never destroyed during WWl or WWll.
Paris is known like as the home of the most-visited art museums in the world, and I think that it is one of my favorite cities in the world because there are a lot of so many beautiful touristic places  destinations. Some of them are the Louvre museum, the Eiffel Tower, the Cathedral of Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Orsay Museum., etc. These touristic and other wonderful places have made Paris one of the most visited and amazing cities in the world
Paris is also known for its fashion designers, the twice-yearly Paris Fashion Week, and for its famous restaurants. Most of France's major universities are also located in Paris.
Paris is called the "City of Love" for some reason. Some people think that it’s because of its sights, its native language and its popularity as a honeymoon destination.
To conclude, I can say that Paris has been is well known because of for its famous monuments, during the last years, and its monuments, touristic places, tourist destinations, tradition and culture, making this city one of my favorites' in the whole world.
