English language

I love English ! I like its rythm, its metaphors, its symbols <em>(what do you mean by symbols?)</em>!
my writing skills are sufficient/good enough/adequate (I think), so I just wish/hope to achieve an authentic mainly want to keep a correct accent when speaking/I speak.  I<em> don't think there is any such thing as 'correct accent!)</em>
I live in France so I rarely get a chance to speak English, but never mind... italki is here :)
