St. Patrick's Day!

St. Patrick’s day is held on 17th March 17, but what is it about? Is It's nothing related with harvests, for sure! Many centuries ago, St. Patrick died leaving behind a really important message to Irish Christian churches. Saint Patrick was famous due to his ways of teaching by using a three-lobed plant, shamrocks, to explain the Holy Trinity, and nowadays the color green is in every part of Ireland on that day, called of “Wearing of the green”. In the last century, St. Patrick’s day became an official holiday in Ireland and today is celebrated in the most English speaking countries. During the holiday week, it is common to find Irish people talking with each other in Gaelic League, and also cultural entertainment can be found anywhere. There are a lot of beautiful and exotic parades, especially in Dublin, huge colorful fireworks and theatre performances. In short, it’s a great day to call off any commitment you have scheduled, hang around the streets and appreciate the greenish view.
