Meeting with Meg on July 4
We briefly talked about color theory.
Suggestions:
Purple and violet pretty mean the same thing. In daily conversation, people use purple more often than violet.
Emotional feeling: a more professional way of saying it is "mood".
Triadic: triadic hues. Figure out the difference between triadic and triangular.
Pronunciation:
Tertiary: the emphasis is on the first syllable, not the second.
palette: the emphasis is on the first syllable, not the second (?)
Johannes Itten: This is probably a Germany pronunciation, "J' is pronunciatd as "Y", so it is more close to "Yohanns".
New words:
pigment: a substance that gives color.
Others:
Neon yellow green is a color that seems to be related to fun and pleasing?
Hues: interchangeable to colors.
Saturation

Though it seems Johannes Itten used a lot of colors in his paintings, he actually only used a small set of colors but managed to create a feeling that a lot of colors were put together and that his paintings were both pleasing and harmonious.
