Some idioms I often use:
- Actions speak louder than words (you can judge people by looking at the things they do instead of the things they say)
- to beat around the bush (to speak indirectly about the main topic of the conversation)
- to kill two birds with one stone (to accomplish two different things at the same time)
- once in a blue moon (if something happens "once in a blue moon," it happens very rarely)
- piece of cake (if a task is a "piece of cake," it is very easy)
- Speak of the devil (you say this when the person you are talking about appear)
- to see eye to eye (two people who "see eye to eye," agree on something)
