Hello there, I have a question, Is it correct to say "I need to write this down on my notebook"? Or "I need to write this down in my notebook?

James you've made a mistake there. "I need to write this ON my notebook" would mean on the front or back cover. "I need to the write this IN my notebook" would mean on a page inside.

If you said "I need to write this in my notebook" it would mean on the cover, not on a page.
