Optical fibers (correct my mistakes please)
Optical fibers are made of glass or plastic designed to guide the light to go with it's length , and are used widely in optical fibers communication which transfer signals to far distance and with data ranges faster than other communications methods and we use fibers instead of metals wires . The optical fiber is long and thin like hair thickness many of fibers are collected inside the optical cabels and have used to transfer the optical signals to very far distance.

Optical fibers are usually made from glass or polymer (plastic) or a combination of both.
They are designed to route light within their core and are widely used in optical fiber communication in which signals are transferred over long distances with data ranges that are faster than other communications methods. As a result this is preferred over conventional metals wires and cable.
Optical fiber is long and thin, with a thickness comparable to human hair. Many fibers are grouped into optical cables which collectively send data over long distances with little to no interference.
