The counting and the fingers. I have noticed that Russians are bend the fingers when they are count something and Americans unbend the fingers when they are count something. This is interesting, isn't it? Why we do it by that different way? =)

Counting with the fingers.

I have noticed that Russians bend their fingers when they are counting, and that Americans straighten their fingers when they are counting.
This is interesting, isn't it?
Why we do it in these different ways? =)

Very well written!

Americans unbend their fingers as you say. The order from one to five is thumb, index finger (also called "pointer" or "forefinger"), middle finger, ring finger, and little finger (also called "pinky"). To continue from six to ten, continue on the other hand, starting again with the thumb. From 11 to 15, do the same, etc. etc.

Other interesting notes please read in my notebook.
