菲律宾人 - Fēilǜbīn rén - I'm from the Philippines. Is this how to say my nationality? I've recently started studying how to introduce myself and my nationality, but the most common examples I get are: 美国人 Měiguǒrén "American" 我是中国人 Zhōngguórén "Chinese" 日本人 Rìběnrén "Japanese" 加拿大人 Jiā'nádàrén "Canadian" I'm from the Philippines and the closest translation I can find is 菲律宾人 - Fēilǜbīn rén 我是菲律宾人吗?- Wǒ shì fēilǜbīn rén ma?

我是菲律宾人 Wǒ shì fēilǜbīn rén = I am a Filipino

我是菲律宾人吗?Wǒ shì fēilǜbīn rén ma? = Am I a Filipino? (吗 ma is usually used at the end of the sentence to indicate that you are asking a question)

我来自菲律宾 Wǒ láizì fēilǜbīn = I am from the Philippines (来自 láizì = from)
