Don't let learning a language be your goal. Instead, pick something in that language that inspires you. It could be songs or poetry or novels or movies. Anything, so long as it inspires you. Start with that, even if you are a beginner. The language will be a bonus. Poems are especially good. Memorize them. Don't ignore grammar.
