Hello,
I would like to know the difference between "response" and "answer".
Thanks in advance

They are very similar, though in some contexts, "response" can be a reply or confirmation, not necessarily an answer.
For example, if I tell you I am feeling sad and you tell me not to be so sensitive, I might say "I don't like your response". It is not an answer because there was no question, but it was a response, reply, or reaction, to my statement.
In religious contexts as well, when reading a prayer in church, the people will have a "response", not an answer. Those praying are not answering the prayer, but are confirming it.
If I ask a question, and ask for your ideas or input, "response" and "answer" are the same.

There isn't much difference between them. Both "response" and "answer" are basically the same, though "response" sounds a little more formal.
The word "answer" is just a reply that is given when a question is asked. "Response" can be used when a question is asked or when a statement is made.
"What is the weather like today?" could be given an answer or a response such as "It's raining"
A statement like, "London is beautiful!," can be given a response such as, "I agree. It's enchanting," but it can't really be given an answer since "London is beautiful!," isn't a question.

Hello there 🙋🏻♀️
Response and answer are synonyms of each other. They basically mean the same thing.
