辅导教师Hi everyone!
Do we have zero/null morphemes in irregular English verbs?
Exp:
✅cut(present tense):1 morpheme
✅cut (past tense):2 morphemes(cut+0)
Is that right?

Yes. Null morphemes are allomorphs of some morphemes.
Examples:
{ PAST } has allomorphs /ed/ (walk+ed), /en/ (broken, spoken), and /0/ (cut+0).
{ PLURAL } has allomorphs /s/ (cat+s), /es/ (wish+es), /en/ (ox+en), and /0/ (sheep+0).
