As for me, my daily schedule doesn't allow me to spend time with my pets, the two poor parrots. So, I have no idea what my pets could bring to me, even when I feel upset. But I know what a pet could do for my daughter. As a teenger, my daughter doesn't ask me for help when she is in trouble, which is very different from when she was a kid. Each time, when she feels sad, she closes the door and plays with her hemster for a longtime. Then she laughs at her room. Sometimes, she takes her hemster outside for a walk. She tells me that her pet plays a very important role in her life. It can ve even more important than me.
