Sentence: You can start next month, provided that's enough time for you.
How should I understand the word "provided"?
I am not very familiar with how to use provided.
Can anyone explain and give me more sentences to understand?

The word 'provided' in this sentence is another way of saying "as long as".
Example: He's welcome to come along, provided that he behaves himself.

"provided that" = if, on the condition that (if and only if)
