Is it ok to write ’I catch the language bug’ in a formal writing of an exam?
Thx!

Probably not. Doesn’t sound formal. Also, would want to say “I caught the language bug” or “I have caught the language bug”

English is correct, but it's extremely rare not to use that phrase in the past tense, describing something that already happened. "I caught the . . . "
