what's the difference between "Scale adj "and "Limit adj"?
eg.
big is scale adj,
huge&enormous are limit adj.
frightened is scale adj.
terrified is limit adj.
i saw all these in a book.

You can't put "very" before a limit adjective.

Eliot is right. You know the difference by the meaning of the word. Limit adj = very + scale adj.
Terrified = very frightened, delicious = very tasty, etc.
