As mention above, the usual way to construct a sentence is subject + verb + complements. That is, the same way than in English.
But you must keep in mind that there are lots of differences between English and Spanish, in grammar and orthography.
Just some of them:
- Gender in articles.
- The use of certain verb tenses (i.e. the subjunctive).
- The accents.
- Question and exclamation tags: ¿? and ¡!
Remember, you're learning a new language so don't try to translate the rules from another different language.

NO, u can't... First of all, what u need to know is that in Spanish, one can classify verbs into 3:
1. verbs ending AR: according to the subject, one must conjugate the verb. U delete AR and if we take into account the pronouns in English, those endings are:
I (yo) - o
you (tu) - as
she/he/it - (ella/el/esto) a
we (nosotros) - mos
they (ellos/ellas) an
Example: caminAR (walk)
yo (i) caminO
tu (you) caminAS
el/ella (he/she/it) caminA
nosotros (we) caminaMOS
ellos (they) caminAN
2. verbs ending ER: In this case u delete ER and add the following endings according to the subject:
I (yo) - o
you (tu) - es
she/he/it - (ella/el/esto) e
we (nosotros) - mos
they (ellos/ellas) en
Example: comER (eat)
yo (i) comO
tu (you) comES
el/ella (he/she/it) comE
nosotros (we) comeMOS
ellos (they) comEN
3. verbs ending IR: In this case, those verbs follow the same rule as verbs ending in AR
I (yo) - o
you (tu) - es
she/he/it - (ella/el/esto) e
we (nosotros) - mos
they (ellos/ellas) en
Example: pedIR (ask)
yo (i) pidO
tu (you) pidES
el/ella (he/she/it) pidE
nosotros (we) pediMOS
ellos (they) pidEN
However, this is a very simple rule because there are some irregular verbs whose conjugation changes... but with that simple rule u can construct simple sentences ;) and don't forget to add a complement to make the sentence with its full meaning ;)

En Español existen varias clases de oraciones. Esta clasificación es bastante amplia. Te sugiero ir a esta página para que tengas una idea:

Mira, puedes empezar de varias formas, pero la más común es:
Sujeto + Verbo + Predicado
Ej.
Manoura + aprende + español
