How to choose between "r" or "rrrrrr"?
I know that when a word begins with an "r", it should be pronunced as "rrrrrr" like "rrrrrrragazza", "RRRRome", "rrrregalo".
But sometimes I hear just "una ragazza", ".... a Rome" but not "una rrrrrrragazza" or ".... a RRRome" in conversations.
On the other hand, sometimes a word that has an "r" before a consonent, it is also pronunced as "rrrrrrrr" like "Si chiama Carrrla", "Arrrrgentina", "Arrivederrrrrrci".
So what's the standard way to pronounce the "r", any rules?
(I mean standard Italian which is spoken in news, TV programs, etc. Not dialects.)
Thanks in advance!Oh.. Thanks @Angel!
Yeah, I chose the wrong catagory.. The language used in question and the language for leaning should be the opposite.
Sorry for my mistake..

is your question for learning English or Italian? I think you have this question in the wrong catagory

it is almost impossible for me to describe pronunciation via writing;
here is my little hint:

there is a little drawing of a loudspeaker, pushing it you should hear
the pronunciation; they are quite good, with same exceptions:
/ragazza/ has the final /a/ that is just left out, but the /r/ sound is correct.
