how to say '只好' in English ?
我去了同学的家，结果他不在，我只好回家.....how to say this sentence in English...(please don't translate it as i go home....becasue i don't translate '只好')如果答案是 have to...那為什麼它的中文不說.我必須回家呢? 而要說只好？只好有無奈感 必須沒有吧...

我只好回家 = I had to go home.

只能用have to, 不能用to be forced to。
