بلد [balad] is a masculin word
هذا البلد [hatha l-balad]

Yes, as previously mentioned the word ( balad ) is treated as masculine as shown i Holy Quran { (haza al-balad ) (هذا البلد ) }, yet the word ( al-baldah ) is feminine ( البلدة )
e.x ذهبت الى هذا البلد
ذهبت الى هذه البلدة
i went to this country
