要看上下文! depends on the "part of speech" which the word serves as... (noun? verb? adjective?) most common: wake someone up (動詞) = to make someone wake up from sleep awake = (形容詞)= 不睡覺的,已睡醒了的 awaken = 被睡醒? 覺醒? 『waken』我從來沒有看過。 要看我們怎麼樣用,要看傳統用法,有些動詞只有幾個用法。。。

"wake","waken","awake", and "awaken" I guess that you mean the sleeping associations of those words. You could wake me -- then I would not be sleeping any more. I could wake you - then you would not be sleeping any more. I am awake - means I am not sleeping. If I awaken you - it means that I do something to make you stop sleeping. I think that awaken is not used that much except in writing now. the word with the spelling "wake" but not the other words, can mean --> the track in the ocean left by a ship --> a type of party after a funeral where friends and relatives mourn the deceased. The word "awaken" can also mean "to realize" something.

wake and awake are the same essentialy, being verbs "wake the child from his sleep" "awake the child from his sleep" Awake can also be used as a state of current being. "DARN IT WOMAN! I am awake alread" waken and awaken are commands (or requests depending on how they are worded). "Would you be a dear and wake up your brother" (note, it is more common to use the word "up" after wake, though not nessiccery) "Old man, look to the sky and awaken from your slumber" Awaken can also reffer to past tense also "the king has awaken! rejoice for our king has awaken from his long sleep!" Hope that helped!
