Whats the diference between Futa e Futatsu?

Futa means "lid/cover"
Futatsu means 2 in the ancient number system and is used as a counter for 2 objects.
As for difference, they are not the same. The two words do not relate to each other well to my knowledge other than they share the same syllables.
