When do you say that?
"" I'm just asking you. """
Does it mean;
I just call you. (I need you for something etc)
I just want something from you. (I need your approval)
I'm just asking a question to you.

i am just asking you ?-- its a sentance in which you are asking for somebody, and this asking can be for anything, like-- asking for to know something, asking for to say something, asking for to see only,

It could mean either one depending on the context, but it is most commonly used to mean 'I'm just asking you a question'.
