'alright' is a word usually synonymous with okay. "Shall we have Mexican tonight?" "Alright, works for me." "Are you alright? You don't look well." "Well, I'm feeling a bit dizzy." 'all right' is about quantity (everything) and correctness. "Did I do well on my test?" "You got the questions all right." "All is right in the world today, at least in my world."
