Vazgeçtim. = I gave up.
Birinden vazgeçmek: to give up on someone (Ex: Senden asla vazgeçmem. I'll never give up on you.)
Bir şey yapmaktan vazgeçmek: to give up the idea of doing something (Ex: Bu yaz tatilde İstanbul'a gitmekten vazgeçtim. I gave up the idea of going to İstanbul on holiday this summer.)
