毕竟 vs. 究竟
我早就学到了这两个单词，不过我还是老分不清它们具体的区别，因此也经常把它们俩搞混用。很烦恼的两个词儿。“究竟”是否和“到底”有类似的含义？
愿意回答提问的人请帮我分析一下“究竟”和“毕竟”的区别并把几个的例子写下来。

Petter, it is faster for me to type in English. 毕竟 means something follows logically from another thought. In English, you'd say "after all." For example, you can say "His English is really good. He is, after all, American." (他的英文非常好。他毕竟是美国人。) 究竟, however, is an emphasis term when you want to know the answer to a question - it's like saying "what in the world happened here?" 这里究竟发生了什麽事？
