"for while" X "for the time being" - Difference?! Hi all, I would like to know what's the difference between these expressions... I mean, When should I use it and why? Thank u!

For the time being=For now For a while=For a period of time

"for a while" = a period of time... slightly longish, I think. "for the time being" = as long as things continue the way they are. There is usually a second action here.
