"like" or "like to" Hello, why sometimes people don't write the word "TO" after the verb "to like". When should I use it? Thanks.

the 'to' is part of a verb in the infinitive form. For instance, "I like to eat ice cream". 'To eat' is the verb. "I like ice cream." No 'to', because there's no verb after 'like'.
