Üstün "Affect and effect" i m confused about these words. How can i select them each other?

This confuses even native speakers sometimes, don't worry if you ever get it wrong. 'Affect' is a verb. 'Effect' is a noun, describing the result the 'affect'. It's meaning is similar to 'result'. Does that makes sense? "A affects..." "The effect is..." "The effects of B are..." etc.
