”而使“ 是什么意思?
在这个句子里面 ：“因为某一个人而使团队没取得好成绩，那那一个人就是拖整个团队后腿”，“而使” 是什么意思？

相当于 cause 吧，“而使”，“而”在这里表示转折，“使”才是这里的表意成分。“因为某一个人（而）使团队没取得好成绩...”，直接用“使”意思不变，但加上“而”的话，表示转折的意思在其中，会觉得更好一点。我觉得“而使”相当于“导致”吧。

这个句子为例，because someone didn't perform well so that ( therefore ,) the whole didn't achieve a high grade.
