Either or Neither?
Which one is correct?
1. She will never be either important or famous
2.She will never be neither important nor famous.
II suppose the first one is correct because the second one leads to double negative (through the word never) but I want a confirmation. Thanks in advance! :)

You are correct. It should be -
She will never be either important or famous
She will be neither important nor famous.

In comparison, the use of the word "nor" not "or" is used.
She will never be neither important nor famous.

If neither one had a problem, then either one would be correct. BUT, the 2nd one leads to double negative as you mentioned, so go with the first one.

Consider yourself confirmed.
