Hi I try to understand the different between 는것이 좋다 and 는게 좋겠다
i find that the means "it be better to" "it will be better to" But i don't have a lot of explications and exemples
거짓말을 하지 않는 것이 좋아요.
지하철로 가는게 좋겠어요.
Somebody have a good explication and exemples, because it's hard for me to understand who to use it just with that

~는 것이 means 'something that~'
Ex: 내가 하지 않은 것이 means "something that I didn't do"
~는 게 used to attach a verb or means 'to be~'
Ex: 니가 가는게 좋다 means "it's good if you go"
Ex: 편하게 말해봐요 means "speak comfortably" which 편하게 means 'to be comfortable'

You can use them both. They mean the same thing. As Beaver said, 게 is 것이 shortened. Usually, if you are writing something formal you would use 것이 instead of 게, but for most informal writing or even slightly formal writing, in my experience, it doesn't matter.
