That´s means a lot of people fired from their jobs happing at same time and place. "Lá na empresa houve um passaralho no mês passado. Cento e trinta pessoas foram mandadas embora." Hope help your doubt.

I don't ear this word, look like a dirt work. I found it mean to fire someone of journal ,argue with someone , male sexual organ (slag) and kind of rare Bird. significados que achei: demitir alguém de uma redação (jornal), dar bronca em alguém , gíria para órgão sexual masculino e e uma espécie de pássaro raro.
