This is a Japanese poems called “HAIKU”. They are short verse of 17 syllables in three metrical sections of 5-7-5 syllables and closely related to the seasons of the year.
ex)This is a famous HAIKU in Japan
A ki hu ka shi (5) - to na ri wa na ni wo (7)- su ru hi to zo(5)
あき（秋）ふか（深）き となり（隣）は なに（何）を する ひと（人）ぞ
Deep autumn, How does my neighbor live, I wonder?
